This book, published to coincide with retrospective exhibitions of Abramovic’s work in Spain, brings together numerous examples of the artist’s installations, objects for human use, photographs, video works, and ritualistic performance pieces — including the Great Wall of China Walk she took with her former partner Ulay. Of special interest to fans of her work is an extensive and highly personal discussion between Abramovic and Pablo Rico in which the artist speaks of her sources of inspiration, the processes of making her work, and her philosophical outlook.
